Client’s Request: A Fresh Look for a Frumpy Bathroom – On the client’s wish list: a walk-in shower with seat, hand-held and fixed shower heads, and more storage. Large tiles on the floor and in the shower make the room feel more spacious. While replacing the textured ceiling, we opted for tile above the shower to prevent steam damage to drywall. The backsplash over the vanity is repeated in the shower for visual interest. A pocket door is a smart solution in a small room. Here it helped create wall space for a small window. A floating vanity with underlighting uses less floor space. The single faucet leaves the Cambria Quartz top looking chic and uncluttered.
